DSV Supporter Managed By VMS
Vessel Management Services are now managing DSV Supporter for Jade-Dienst, a German based company. This news follows the acquisition of Red 7 Reel by Jade Dienst and the change of name to DPV Supporter. VMS have been retained as the ship managers of the vessel that is the first large scale commercial vessel owned by Jade Dienst.
Jade-Dienst GmbH is a specialized maritime services company based in Wilhelmshaven and for more than 50 years it is a competent partner for shipping, port services, water conservancy and environmental protection.
With the acquisition of DPV Supporter, Jade-Dienst are looking to expand their offshore operations. Germany is aiming to have 2.500 turbines installed in its territorial waters in the North and Baltic Seas by 2030. This means that an average of 250 turbines will have to be produced and installed each year.
Wilhelmshaven, the home of Jade Dienst, is one of the most important ports in Germany and the number one when it comes to annual transaction volume and project cargo. It is also the only deep water port with shortest access to open sea and thus the first port of call for offshore services.
